Motorcycling in the PhilippinesPhilippines Motorcycle Tours

Organised tours travel along some of the best roads in North Luzon, winding through mountains and enjoying spectacular scenery. These tours start from either Alaminos, or Manila.

Whether you're alone, or arriving with a group of friends, we'll arrange your tour, together with a guide, who'll accompany you on your journey. Accommodation is included, and there are various bikes from which to select.

Inter-Island Holidays with Motorcycle Rental

We'll arrange internal flights and transfers, as well as accommodation on each island, and you simply rent bikes while you're there. Often you will be able to find a local guide, with expert knowledge, to assist you.

Important Information

Driving License: It is legal to ride motorcycles if you have any valid international driving license, and have been in the Philippines for less than 90 days. You should have experience in riding motorcycles in various conditions, including rough roads.

Insurance: Motorbikes are third party insured, but self-inflicted accidents are not covered and it is vital that you take out adequate insurance before you travel.

Luggage: Normally riders carry the few things they need in a back pack and/or in the side bags on the bike - depending on which bike they want to ride. We find it is not necessary to take that much with you, because the hotels mostly have overnight laundry service. Additionally, in North Luzon, luggage can be stored in the starter hotel in Alaminos, or with Philippine Trails staff in Manila. The trip is never too far from civilisation, which means requirements can be purchased along the way.
